Located in scenic Ninilchik, on the shores of Cook Inlet
Whether you want to fish
for King salmon,
barn door halibut or the spectacular
fighting silver salmon
we can arrange a memorable trip
Our early season trips are at a time
when literally thousands of Kings are
migrating through Cook Inlet.
a combo trip you will be able catch
halibut each day. The
halibut fishing is good all year with
many large fish caught. We fish King salmon year round when avaliable. The Kings average between 10-40 lbs depending on time of year with larger fish caught every year. Our overall success
rate is one of the best in the area.
Silver salmon start showing in the end
of July and run through September.
In August and September we fish out of
Seward, Alaska for silver salmon.
This scenic town is about three hours
from Anchorage. In August Seward
hosts the oldest
fishing derby in
Alaska. Prizes are awarded for the
largest silver salmon of the day and for
the whole derby. This is a very
popular event for Alaskans as well as
visitors to the state.
Starting in October, we are in Homer fishing for winter kings. We fish all winter, weather dependant. The limit for winter Kings is 2/day, any size all winter long. They average 8-20 lbs with larger ones caught every winter. Homer hosts the largest single day derby in Alaska in March. The pay off is based on the amount of anglers entered. Big payouts, lots of prizes, and boats are able to make side bets. It is the biggest single day derby payout in Alaska.
We also offer guided razor clam trips across the inlet. The west side of Cook Inlet has no limit on razor clams. We encourage people to take what they need on this trip to help preserve this valuable resource. This is a low tide, weather dependant trip form May through July.
